Short description
We are looking for an experienced SCRUM Master or SAFe® Release Train Engineer (RTE) to support a long-term agile transformation project. The role combines remote collaboration with regular on-site presence (30–50%) and offers the opportunity to contribute to a strategic program.
Job description
• Support a long-term agile transformation project for a strategic client in a hybrid working model
• Facilitate agile ceremonies such as PI Planning, retrospectives, and iteration planning
• Actively support the Release Train Engineer in establishing and enforcing SAFe principles within the ART
• Coach agile teams and stakeholders on agile mindset, practices, and scaled frameworks
• Moderate workshops across formats and levels (team, program, leadership)
• Contribute to agile transformation initiatives and organizational change management
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment across ARTs
• Help identify and remove obstacles to delivery, improving flow and team performance
• Drive continuous improvement and knowledge-sharing across teams and departments
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure shared understanding of goals and timelines

Requirements
• Fluent in both German and English (verbal and written communication)
• Experience with agile methods and frameworks (SAFe, Scrum, etc.)
• A valid SAFe® Release Train Engineer (RTE) and/or Certified SCRUM Master certification is required
• Must have successfully led at least three SAFe implementations across different organizations
• Requires at least 5 years of relevant professional experience, including 3 years as RTE or SCRUM Master in a scaled agile environment
• Should have experience planning and moderating workshops of various formats
• Must demonstrate knowledge in agile transformation and change management
• A completed coaching certification is required
• The SCRUM Master will actively support the Release Train Engineer in promoting and upholding agile principles across the ART (Agile Release Train) structure
The position is suitable for candidates with education
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, IT, Statistics, or Engineering
Language skills
Fluent in both German and English (verbal and written communication).
Number of years of experience
Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience, including 3 years as RTE or SCRUM Master in a scaled agile environment
